  Lesson 9 - Hey Hey
Lesson 9 - Hey Hey

Ken Wheeler, once again, offers students the chance to learn classic Blues songs with him, for both the Electric and Acoustic guitar.

Featured on Eric Clapton's unplugged album, this song begins in the B7 chord and moves through A and B chords.

Ken will be gearing the playing of this song more toward the original version of the song recorded by Big Bill Broonzey.

Skill Level: 3 Runtime: 1 min
  Lesson 10 - Baby, Please Don't Go
Lesson 10 - Baby, Please Don't Go

Both The Doors and Aerosmith have at some point in their careers recorded this song, making it a fantastic song for you to learn.

This lesson will expand on the Finger Style of playing and develop ear training and finger speed.

Skill Level: 3 Runtime: 1 min
Lesson 11 - Me and the Devil Blues
Lesson 11 - Me and the Devil Blues

The song "Me and the Devil Blues" is a good example of Robert Johnson's non-slide guitar songs and so again is a fantastic song to add to your collection of songs you can play.

Ken Wheeler will advise you on the best way to use your fingers to play the notes in this lesson in order to make playing easier, as some parts of this song, particularly playing in the Finger Style, can be tricky.

The hardest part of this lesson may be learning to play a Drone Bass note. This is a note that is played continuously throughout the entire song with one finger and must stay at a constant pace.

Skill Level: 3 Runtime: 6 mins
  Lesson 12 - Rollin' Stone
Lesson 12 - Rollin' Stone

In this lesson you will learn how to play one of the most famous songs in history. This is the song that The Rolling Stones took their name from.

The song, for the most part, only contains the key of E.
