Charlie, Midland, Texas "I thought your web-site was extremely easy to navigate. The pricing is good and I was looking for lessons by Mr Wheeler..." Willie, Dallas, Texas "Love the web-site. Great idea. I finally can sit in my room and learn all the fun songs I've always wanted to play. Good price! Fred, Georgetown, Kentucky Great site, very simple to navigate. Love Reese Anderson and the steel guitar lessons. A very good value. Pat, Heath, Texas Love it. You cannot find better teachers than Ken Wheeler and Maurice Anderson to learn from. $9.95 for an entire month is extremely cheap. I study with both teachers. Terry, Albuquerque, New Mexico Love your web-site, great service. I purchased Reese Anderson's yearly package for lap steel guitar. Rio, Ft. Worth, Texas I'm a rocka billy fan and I love Ken's lessons, " That'll Be The Day", " That's Alright Mama", and " Johnny B Goode". I've learned to play all of them. Great! |
Who teaches Music Texas Style’s Lessons? As a professional musician and teacher, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some very talented people over the years who share my love of music and teaching. Each of these teachers has been handpicked by Music Texas Style for their knowledge of the instrument, their ability to teach it and their passion for passing on their secrets of success to other musicians. How does Music Texas Style differ from other lessons I’ve tried? A lot of musicians give up in the early stages because of “stage fright”. They’re either afraid of group lessons because of the peer pressure factor or don’t want to play by themselves in front of an instructor. Music Texas Style has put everything online. The only one listening to you is, well, you. You move at your own pace, not the pace of a class. And you learn what you want to learn when you want to learn it. You don’t have to pass over a critical skill just because it’s time to move on. How are lessons delivered? Lessons are delivered online. Once you signup as a student, you can select the course level you fall into: beginner, intermediate or advanced. From there, you can take lessons. Coursework appears in video form as well as text. So, you can read along and play along with the tutorials. And if you don’t get it the first time (or 10th time for that matter), just rewind the videos and go through it again. It’s that simple. Is my online payment safe? Like most sites these days, we use the very best encryption and security available to make sure that your personal information remains safe and sound, right where it’s supposed to be. Are more lessons coming? Yes. Our teachers are working on new lessons all the time. A lot of the new lessons will be based on student requests so don’t be shy about asking for something if it hasn’t shown up on the class list yet. Our staff loves to be challenged to show off new techniques and shortcuts. I don’t see the instrument I want to learn. Will you add it? One of the great things about Music Texas Style is that we are here for our students. If there is sufficient interest of those enrolled, we will add instruments as we go. We have provided a starter list based on what most bands have in their lineup, but if there are enough students who want to learn a particular instrument and we can find someone to teach it, we’ll be happy to do so. Can I be signed up to more than one teacher at once? At Music Texas Style, subscriptions are one per account. Therefore you’ll need to create a new account for each additional subscription you require. |
